Lunch date before Christmas Vacation starts

Friday  December 21, last day of office before we hit the company Christmas vacation.  We are excited for the long vacation though a bit sad because we were not going to see each other for almost two weeks. As been practice we had this small lunch date with my friends at Banana Leaf. It was just a simple lunch yet full of laughs and smiles.

As the saying goes Time is gold. So value every minute of our life whether good or bad it was. We can’t see the future so enjoy and savour the moment of today no matter or where life leads us.

A Haven of Fun in Northern Samar

At present, family get together is rarely to happen. This become the most anticipating time for those who lives away from his/her family like me. Last November we went home for the celebration of All Souls & Saints Day. We had this short family get together and we came to this isolated beautiful Island in Northern Samar.
This Island was named as San Antonio by the locale. I could say that it has Rich Green Forest and the fine white sand by the seaside. The place seems to be a paradise to those who lives the busy life in Metro Manila. When you get there, you’ll feel the refreshing breeze of the winds. The beautiful sunrise on the morning that makes you feel energize like a child. The Crystal Blue water that makes you sees the deep side of the ocean. The white fine sand that relaxes your tired feet from all the walks you’ve been.  And when you swim, you’ll see the living creatures under sea swimming just beside you... yes just beside you– the fishes in their different types, colors & sizes. You can also find hard and soft shell clams and others aquatic life. This place is Paradise – where life is so simple yet you’ll feel the ultimate peace & happiness.
Hope this place remains beautiful over the years... until forever. I am so happy that I had a chance to be in there.

The beautiful starfish I've seen so far.. :)

How do you feel for Discrimination?

All men are born equally free according to Salmon Chase.

The question is why there is discrimination?

I live in an Asian country where discrimination is seen, you may see & feel it in a work place or school or even in the family. Being a woman of so-called new generation many of us believe that all things are equal for everyone. Love is for everyone – no rich and famous. Friendship is open to all – no matter how you look. How about the term EQUAL? This word is somewhat very easy to define but very hard to apply. Even though, we try to be the best that we can, equal treatment is inevitable especially in a work place. Yes, we know that there is a hierarchy that shows the chronological order of positions. But of course, it’s just a position, it doesn’t mean that the way you treat you subordinates will also be the same as their position level. I wonder if they still remember the code of ethics taught in school and of course, we have company orientation where we were informed of the Rules & Regulations of the company about interpersonal relationship with your co-workers right? I don’t know if it make sense to you, but in a company or workplace everyone depends on one another. There is a work flow procedures where your tasks depend on the other or the other way around. Actually it’s nice to be in an environment where everyone shows camaraderie and respect to one another. It serves also as a motivation to work harder that would result to be an efficient and effective employee. But it’s not happening to all, some still practicing this domineering attitude or “bossiness” though he’s a boss but you can identify thru his instructions that says “you are just a subordinate and you are not allowed to complain to anything.  “. It’s like a King to slave treatment as shown in movies - very cruel, as if a slave doesn’t have the right to anything and only the King has all rights. This is life; we are destined to live by it and cherished it according to God’s providence. Though, it’s quite not so easy to others to be a slave, just be tough because Life is not about how fast you run or how high you climb but how well you bounce.
